Most local house removals are completed within one day. Larger properties or moves that include a packing service may require additional time. We will advise you of the expected timeframe during your quotation or survey.
What should I do to prepare for moving day?
We recommend ensuring all boxes are securely sealed and clearly labelled. Please ensure clear access to your property and be available at the delivery address to guide our team on where items should be placed. Once everything is ready, you can relax while our experienced removal team takes care of the move.
Do you offer storage solutions?
Yes, we provide secure container storage and can also arrange self-storage solutions if you require access to your belongings. We will recommend the correct storage size to avoid unnecessary costs and will professionally load your storage unit to maximise space.
Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Yes, we can dismantle and reassemble furniture where required, including beds, wardrobes, tables and large items that cannot be moved safely as they are. We can also disconnect and reconnect white goods where applicable.
Where will my items be placed in my new property?
Our removal team will place all items in the rooms you request. If you would like furniture repositioned within the same room, we will be happy to assist.
Are my belongings insured during the move?
Yes, we carry Goods in Transit insurance, Public Liability insurance, Employers’ Liability insurance and Hire & Reward vehicle insurance. Please refer to our terms of service for full details of coverage and responsibilities.
Are there any additional charges?
Additional costs may apply for packing materials or protective floor coverings if requested. Waiting time and other potential charges are outlined in our terms of service. We always aim to be transparent about pricing.
A deposit or full payment may be required to secure your booking. If payment is not taken in advance, payment is due upon completion of the move. We accept bank transfer, cash, and credit card payments by prior arrangement only.
